It started with circuitry. We spent months deconstructing and reconstructing the essence of real-life distortion units directly into Serum 2's FX Rack. After the dust settled, 12 models remained - a screamer, a rodent, a chainsaw, a harbinger of doom, and more - yearning to demolish anything that we could throw at them.
Next came the trial by fire. Every source audio was on the chopping block, an endless supply of destructive possibilities. The distortion models performed gloriously. Drums became explosions, pulses were soaked in grit, basses were turned into awe-inspiring forces of nature.
Serum 2 had become a monster. Will we regret unleashing this beast upon the world? Only time will tell.
